Liverpool Vs Arsenal

Liverpool and Arsenal Draw 2-2, Title Race Wide Open

Late Firmino Goal Earns Liverpool Point

Goals from Saka, Martinelli, and Trossard Give Arsenal 3-1 Win

Liverpool and Arsenal shared the points in a pulsating 2-2 draw at Anfield on Sunday evening. Goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard gave Arsenal a 3-1 lead, but Roberto Firmino's late header earned Liverpool a point.

The result leaves Arsenal two points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, while Liverpool are now sixth, seven points behind the leaders.

Arsenal started the game brightly and took the lead through Saka in the first half. Martinelli doubled their lead early in the second half, before Trossard made it 3-0 with a stunning strike from outside the box.

Liverpool looked to be heading for a heavy defeat, but Firmino's goal gave them hope. The Brazilian forward scored again late on to earn Liverpool a draw and keep their title hopes alive.

The draw was a fair result in the end, with both teams having chances to win the game. Arsenal will be disappointed not to have taken all three points, but they remain in a strong position at the top of the table.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will be relieved to have come away from Anfield with a point. They are still in the title race, but they will need to start winning games consistently if they are to challenge Arsenal and Manchester City for the trophy.

Arsenal will host Manchester City in their next Premier League game on February 15th. Liverpool will travel to Wolves on the same day.
